Permanently delete your account and all associated data
Delete account via the app
If you still have access to your account, you can delete it yourself via the app:
- Open the Chup app and log in
- Go to Settings
- Tap Privacy
- Tap Delete account and confirm
Your account and all family data will be deleted immediately and permanently.
No longer have access to your account?
Send an email to info@chup.nu with the email address of your account. We'll process your request within 5 working days.
Which data will be deleted?
When your account is deleted, the following data will be permanently erased:
- Your account details (name, email address, password)
- All family members and their profiles
- All tasks, completions and points totals
- Calendar items and calendar feeds
- Rewards and redemption history
- Shopping lists and wish lists
- Messages and conversations
- Profile photos and family images
- Device links and push notification settings
Retention period
Your data will be deleted immediately and permanently the moment you confirm the deletion request. There is no recovery period.
We may keep invoice details for longer where required by law (statutory retention period of 7 years), but these are not linked to your app account.
